The invention relates to a method and a device for regulating pouring streams during steel making. According to said method the volume of a pouring stream (3) emerging from an outlet opening (2) of a container (1) is regulated mechanically. According to the invention the volume of said pouring stream (3) is regulated by a gas in a chamber (4) which is connected to the container (1) and has a narrowing (6), in such a way that the pouring stream can be regulated easily and precisely without wear on the regulating means. |
