PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastic packing and a pit mouth sealing device, which are manufactured easily and which have excellent sealing properties and durability. SOLUTION: The elastic packing 10 has an outer circumferential end 10b and an inner circumferential end 10a installed to a pit mouth such as a tunnel hole, and has a cubic shape extended in an umbrella shape extending over the outer circumferential end from the inner circumferential end. The elastic packing comprises a plate-shaped elastic raw material 11 formed in a contour shape obtained by developing the cubic shape, and is formed in the cubic shape by joining the open ends 11a, 11b of the elastic raw material 11.
