<p>Method and arrangement for recovering heat from exhaust air in the vacuum system of a paper, cardboard or pulp machine with the help of a heat recovery tower (12). Exhaust air flows (22, 24) dischared by vacuum fans (18, 20) from two or more elements of suction are led to the heat recovery tower in which heat is transferred from the exhaust air flows to a heat receiving medium flow by means of heat exchanger cells (26, 27, 28) or similar elements. According to the invention, the exhaust air flows discharged by the different vacuum fans are conveyed to the heat recovery tower as separate flows and made to travel through the different heat exchanger cells, preferably as parallel flows so that they do not substantially mix with each other.</p> |
