<p>According to the invention, a stop element is used for tube welding which engages with the tube and which travels with the tube so as to position the edges of the clot before the weld is produced by la laser beam (4). The travelling stop element has a plurality of stop pieces (8, 9, 10, 11) which are arranged on a chain (7) which is rotation-driven. Form elements (15, 15' ) act on the exterior of the clot to position the edges, thereby effecting an exact positioning of the edges for welding, especially for tube welding.</SD OAB></p> |
