PURPOSE: A process for preparing mineral for addition to animal feed is provided which is capable of producing mineral sufficient to be used for animal feed in a wide variety of forms and reduces the treatment cost of waste by shortening an amount of final waste by below 1/5. CONSTITUTION: Mineral for addition to animal feed is manufactured by pouring sulfuric acid into electric furnace dust, dissolving the reacted dust in water, filtering, and drying the effluent, wherein a specified amount of an inorganic material containing about 4% by weight of manganese dioxide powder, about 4% by weight of ferromanganese, about 0.06% by weight of cobalt, about 0.06% by weight of cerium, and from 0.1 to 0.2% by weight of iodide are added to the dissolving process and from 5 to 15% by weight of copper sulphate and from 5 to 18% by weight of calcium carbonate are added to the dried product.
