Single-stage preparation of 4-substituted pyrazole compounds useful e.g. as insecticides, from new or known 4-unsubstituted compound and halide

Preparation of 4-(alkylthio, alkylsulfinyl or alkylsulfonyl)-5-amino-1-(phenyl or pyridyl)-3-(thio)carbamoyl-pyrazole derivatives (I) involves reacting a corresponding 4-unsubstituted pyrazole (II) with the appropriate halide (III). Some starting compounds (II) are new. Preparation of 4-substituted pyrazole derivatives of formula (I) involves reacting a corresponding 4-unsubstituted pyrazole of formula (II) with a halide of formula T''-Y-R (III), optionally in presence of a diluent and/or a reaction auxiliary. A = N or C-T'; T, T' = halogen; X = O or S; Y = S, SO or SO2; R = alkyl or haloalkyl; T'' = halogen, preferably Cl or Br. An Independent claim is included for starting materials (II; X = O; A = C-T') as new compounds.
