Vibratory rotation sensor with multiplex electronics

The sensor includes a rotationally-symmetric thin-walled resonator which is capable of vibrating in minimum one of several standing-wave modes. Several resonator electrodes (42) attached to the surface of the resonator, is connected to a single output port, electrically. A sensing unit is provided with its input port connected to the output port of the resonator. Several signals are output from the resonator during vibration. A standing wave parameter is determined from a respective output signal of the resonator.
