<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently remove dust, and to make the collector compact as a whole and reduced in cost by integrating a rough electric dust collector with a dielectric sphere type dust collector. SOLUTION: This dry type dust collector includes a 1st stage rough electric dust collector 10 for previously electrostatically charging and collecting dust in a dust-containing exhaust gas, a 2nd stage dust collector 16, provided in the down stream from the 1st stage rough electric dust collector in the flow direction of the exhaust gas and provided with high voltage electrodes 13, 13', earth electrodes 11, 11', 11" and electrically insulating dielectric balls 14 for attracting and collecting the electrostatically charged dust, and a dust separating means for separating the dust from the dielectric balls 14 on which the dust discharged from the 2nd stage dust collector 16 is deposited.</p> |
