PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To catch insect pests by using a cleaner. SOLUTION: Insect pests are collected and are packed in a box by using suction force of a cleaner which each family has. A catching box comprises two top and bottom boxes and the upper box is provided with holes at a right and a left sides in close proximity to the bottom. The upper box having a wide interval between a suction hole and an exhaust hole is turned down and the interval of the top and the bottom is deepened so that the upper box is introduced into the interior of a bottom box. A vespid heavier than air is dropped on the bottom when the interval between the suction hole and the exhaust hole is wide. Air is sucked up from the exhaust hole by the cleaner.
