PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the number of part items and improve the assembling property. SOLUTION: This operating mechanism is equipped with an operating arm 34 which is turned on a shaft 39 formed on a base end part 65 and adapted to press an adjust pin 32 of a gas spring 31 by its rotation to expand and contract the gas spring 31, and a support frame 35 having a support part 66 rotatably supporting the shaft 39 of the operating arm 34. In that case, the mechanism has a guide part 67 communicating the support part 66 and the outer edge of the support frame 35 to each other to guide the shaft 39, and the shaft 39 is formed with eccentricity to the base end part 65 to be apart away from the center of gravity of the operating arm 34.
