<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing toner particles which excel in transfer property and by which high minute images are obtained. SOLUTION: In a process for subjecting toner particles before classification or after classification to surface treatment, a rotary driving shaft 3 is rotated to rotate a first rotary rotor 2a and to introduce the toner particles into a first cylindrical treating chamber 29a together with gas from a powder feeding port 30 of the first cylindrical treating chamber 29a, and while the toner particles are retained in the first cylindrical treating chamber 29a, mechanical impact force is given to the toner particles to treat them, and the treated toner particles are discharged from a first powder discharge port 10a installed in the central part of a first rear wall of the first cylindrical treating chamber 29a, and when they pass through a clearance between a blade 9a and the sidewall of the first cylindrical treating chamber 29a, mechanical impact is given to them. In a toner surface treatment device, a cylindrical easing 1 has a jacket structure through which cooling water is passed, and the value of heat conductivityκin material inside the jacket satisfies heat conductivityκ>=50 W.m-1.K-1.</p> |
