COMPOSITION FOR EXTERNAL USE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously improve the stable formulation with a composition for external use such as a cosmetic and salt resistance while making the most of a unique tough of use of gellan gum. SOLUTION: This stable composition for external use is obtained by formulating a carboxyvinyl polymer and/or an alkyl-modified carboxyvinyl polymer and gellan gum in combination without formulating a surfactant for stabilizing the system. The viscosity of the whole composition is raised even in the presence or absence of a salt by causing the interaction of the mutual formulated ingredients and the touch of use is remarkably improved.
