PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recycling method of a cathode ray tube capable of minimizing waste quantity by culletizing surface deposit by certainly and speedily peeling and removing them in a simplified process and by using an inexpensive blast material. SOLUTION: A glass material is used as a blast material and surface deposit is peeled and removed by blasting it on inside and outside surfaces of a cathode ray tube glass in a method to dismantle the disused cathode ray tube and to recycle its glass as a material. The cathode ray tube glass is previously crushed roughly in pieces and made into funnel pieces or panel pieces. Silica sand, feldspar or their mixture is used as the blast material.
