The invention relates to magnetic particles, magnetic dispersions and methods for the production thereof. The objective of the invention is to provide magnetic particles and magnetic dispersions in addition to methods that enable the magnetic particles and magnetic dispersions to be produced, whereby said particles have hydrophobic and hydrophilic surface characteristics and are able to enter into bonding reactions with other molecules and have a high aggregate stability in aqueous solvents as well as in organic solvents. This is achieved by means of magnetic particles that are characterized in that a compound of general formula (I) is bonded to the surface of the magnetic particles, whereby R1 represents a carboxylic acid group, sulphonic acid group or phosphonic acid group or the salts thereof, R2 represents alkyl or alkenyl groups of C1 C30 atoms, with or without OH groups, R3 represents a group with a positive induction effect such as unbranched and branched alkyl groups with C1-C10 atoms in addition to hydrogen, and B represents 1-4 methylene groups. |
