PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a higher processing speed without increasing cost and complicating a structure of a device. SOLUTION: A gripper deceleration turning folding device includes a nipping barrel 72 including a plurality of nipping parts 74a to 74e attached rotatably, a gripper deceleration drum 52 which is rotatably attached and forms a nip 70 together with the nipping drum 72, and a plurality of gripper decelerators 54a to 54e attached to the gripper deceleration drum 52. Each gripper decelerator 54a to 54e grasps one of a plurality of sections 58a to 58e at one time for deceleration. Respective pushing-in blades 56a to 56e corresponding to a plurality of gripper decelerators 54a to 54e, respectively, push respective section 58a to 58e into corresponding nipping parts 74a to 74e after the sections 58a to 58e are decelerated.
