FIELD: devices for purification of liquids from suspended matter; applicable in treatment of sewage waters and process solutions in various industries. SUBSTANCE: settling tank has body with branch pipes for supply of initial liquid and discharge of clarified liquid, and branch pipe for discharge of sediments, pack of horizontal discs mounted on shaft with drive and means for cleaning of discs from sediments in the form of scrapers which are fastened to collector for discharge of sediments. Attached to collector under each scraper below disc is pocket with hole in collector wall for discharge of sediments. Scraper is suspended from cantilever on rods passed through guide bushings. Discs are conical in shape. EFFECT: higher efficiency of liquid purification and increased quality of purification by 10-12%. 3 cl, 4 dwg
