A pneumatic dispatch station for alternative dispatching, receiving or passing of carriers, comprises a curved section of tube (Fig. 2) within a sealed casing 6 (Fig. 3), an opening 5 at the lower part of the curve serving to eject the carriers. The opening is closed by a cover 2 attached to a vertically depending lever arm 9 and is selectively removable by a solenoid device 8, 10 coupled to the arm 9 and acting against the influence of spring means. |
