PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video transmission terminal and a video reception terminal in a supervisory camera system which are easily installed with excellent operability. SOLUTION: This video transmission terminal in a radio communication system transmits compressed video data to a video reception terminal via a base station by means of a radio wave. The video transmission terminal is provided with a memory 1022 that stores a terminal number used by the base station to recognize the video transmission terminal, a base band circuit 102 or the like that conducts line connection to the video reception terminal issuing a line connection request addressed to the terminal number via the base station and receives a compression rate indication command, a camera section 1031 that photographs a video image within a camera visual field to generated video data, a camera use CPU 1033 that decodes the compression rate indication command to compress the video data at the commanded compression rate, and a case section 100 that stores all means being components of itself or integrate them, and the video transmission terminal transmits the compressed video data to the video reception terminal connecting to the line.
