Removable pillar for frames for bodywork or loading platforms which incorporates a mechanism which comprises a pair of longitudinal arms 5 connected at one end by an anchoring bolt 6 on the longitudinal member 2 of the platform; an actuating lever 4 which can be displaced in terms of opening in a clockwise direction, which applies its force by means of one or more link rods 9 mounted on the shaft 7 of articulation of said arms 5 and its resistance on a slide 10 which is capable of sliding in a longitudinal direction via the inside of the pillar 1 in an action of locking the mechanism. <IMAGE>
