MODIFIED ELASTOMERIC POLYPROPYLENES, THEIR USE, AND BLENDS WITH THEIR CONTENT

Elastomeric polypropylenes and blends thereof with isotactic polypropylenes with essentially a stereoregular block arrangement in the chain structure are modified with graft monomers selected from the group containing ethylenically unsaturated aliphatic or aromatic carboxylic acids or derivatives thereof in the amount ranging from 0.1 to 30 wt.%. The use of modified polypropylenes as additives for improving compatibility by adding thereof into blends. Blends of polyolefins and nonolefinic thermoplastics containing such polypropylenes.
