PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a multi-plate independent type screw press device wherein a screw and a movable plate are separately driven. SOLUTION: A large number of circular fixed plates 11 and circular movable plates 12 are alternately arranged having a fine gap for filtration to form a filtrating cylinder 2, and a screw 5 is arranged in a manner to penetrate through the overall length of the filtrating cylinder. Also, filtration gaps g are formed between the movable plates and the fixed plates. In this case, the device is equipped with a first driving mechanism 13, M1 for driving the screw, and a second driving mechanism 14, M2 for generating oscillation of the movable plates, so that the filtration gaps between the plates are always re-generated.
