PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a complete drying condition under a ultra low temperature and save energy or improve environmental quality by applying a stirling freezer to a freeze-drying machine. SOLUTION: This freeze-drying machine has a heat exchange coil 53 arranged on the outer periphery and a freeze-drying tank 3 provided inside for storing dried material O, whereby cold refrigerant cooled by a cold head 45 of a stirling freezer 2 is circulated between the cold head 45 and the heat exchange coil 53 via a cold refrigerant pipe passage 54 for freeze-drying the freeze-drying tank 3 to dry the dried material O.
