PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information input system which can flexibly select a storage destination for information inputted from an input device. SOLUTION: The information input system is equipped with the input device 100 for inputting information and an information processor 101 which is connected to the input device 100 and processes the information transferred from the input device 100. Here, the input device 100 is equipped with storage parts 103 and 104 which stores the inputted information, a connection detecting device 106 which detects whether or not the information processor 101 is connected to the input device 100, and a control part 102a which controls the system so that the inputted information is not stored in the storage parts 103 and 104, but transferred to the information processor 101 when the connection detecting device 106 detects the information processor 101 is connected to the input device 100.
