PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device equipped with a processing cartridge being excellent in recycling property, and being made possible to prevent the improper processing cartridge from the use at a low cost. SOLUTION: This processing cartridge is identified whether the processing cartridge is provided with the appropriate specification being preliminarily set by this image forming device, based on oscillation of an oscillator 60 equipped by the processing cartridge. In such a manner, the processing cartridge other than being preliminarily aimed, the so-called pirated edition processing cartridge can be prevented from being used. Moreover, by adopting this processing cartridge, the image forming device provided with the stable operation can be provided, with a simple circuit structure, being free from care with malfunctioning as a result of a leakage current, as compared to the conventional method for identifying whether the processing cartridge is provided with the appropriate specification utilizing the memory. |
