PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigator capable of easily acquiring information related to desired facilities from an external network (e.g., Internet). SOLUTION: When any of facilities is selected from among a list displayed on a screen, a map centering the selected facilities is displayed on the screen (S110-S120). When an 'INET' key set in the screen is operated (S130-Y) and if their home addresses are stored in the facility retrieval data of the selected facilities, a telephone call is made to a provider to establish connection with the Internet, the homepage address read from the facility retrieval data is used to access the home page from which information related to the facilities can be obtained, and its content is displayed on the screen (S140-S160). Therefore, it is possible to acquire detailed information related to the desired facilities easily and efficiently without performing searches by key words, etc., on the Internet. |
