PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate the switching of an instruction decoding mode while being linked with interruption. SOLUTION: This microcomputer is provided with an interruption control circuit 11 for judging an instruction decoding mode corresponding to each fetched interrupting contents, and a corresponding mode designating circuit 12 for outputting the selective information of a decoder related with instruction decoding to an instruction decode part based on the judged result of the interruption control circuit. Thus, the instruction decoding mode corresponding to each fetched interrupting contents is judged, and the selective information of the decoder related with the instruction decoding is outputted to the instruction decode part based on the judged result so that the switching of the instruction decoding mode based on interruption can be achieved.
