PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brief type disposable diaper having favorable junction strength at both side edge parts in forming pants, and having favorable touch and feel to wear. SOLUTION: In this brief type disposable diaper comprising an absorption main body 10 to absorb excrement, and an outer member 7 to hold the absorption main body 10 and form pants, the outer member 7 is formed by laminating an inner layer sheet and an outer layer sheet comprizing nonwoven fabric, expansion elastic members 10 are disposed on opening parts around legs and an opening part around the waist between both sheets, and both sheets are jointed with each other through an adhesive layer intermittently applied in a zone except for both side edge part zones of front and back parts.
