PURPOSE: A starting performance improving method for an immobilizer system vehicle is provided to delay a starting time by a set counter number for repeating the communication between an immobilizer control unit and an electronic control unit in case of communication fail due to temporal errors, thereby improving the starting performance of the vehicle and the reliability of the system. CONSTITUTION: A starting performance improving method for an immobilizer system vehicle includes the steps of checking whether an ignition switch is turned on when starting a vehicle(S1), inputting a counter initializing value 1 under the turn-on state of the ignition switch(S2), trying communication between an immobilizer control unit(ICU) and an electronic control unit(ECU)(S3), determining whether a communication try number of a counter is larger than a set number if the communication is not achieved(S4), and re-trying the communication by returning the routine to the third step after adding 1 to the current counter number if the number is not larger than the set number(S5).
