PURPOSE: A method for providing a web service is to provide a user with information satisfying a user's desire and to allow the user to acquire useful information with ease having many times of information inquiry. CONSTITUTION: A method for providing a web service on an internet comprises the steps of: recording accumulated information about the number of times where a specified information stored in a web server is accessed by many users(S1); and discriminating visually items of the specified information against other items thereof, according to the degree of information inquiry based on the accumulated information and displaying them on a web browser(S2). The visual discrimination method includes increasing or decreasing font size of characters about specified items, sorting out the specified items by a priority order, or broadening or narrowing spaces occupied by the specified items.
