PURPOSE: An electric business card and portable information storage device are provided to exchange the information of a business card with a business partner. CONSTITUTION: A portable business card information storage device is consisted of a storage device, a card board, and a portable information storage device. A magnetic tape can be the storage device and is attached on the card board. The card board is made of durable materials such as plastic. The information to be written on a business card is at first printed on the plastic card, and then recorded on the magnetic tape after being converted into an electro-magnetic signal. The portable information storage device has an information reader within. To read the information on the card immediately after receiving a business card from other people, a reading device is installed in a portable device such as an electric calculator and a cellular phone. By virtue of this system, people can possess only one business card and manage the business card information conveniently.
