PURPOSE: A portable computer is provided to increase a ratio of an image display area by making an image display apparatus and a hinge arm be assembled at a rear part of a case. CONSTITUTION: A portable computer comprises a body, a body case, a plane display apparatus(10), a hinge and a display apparatus case(30). The body includes an information input device and an information processing part, and the body case(20) protects and receives the body. The plane display apparatus(10) has a display part and a first connection part(15) which are formed at a back plane. The display part displays a processed result of the information processing part. The hinge includes a hinge arm(24) having a hinge connection part(22) and a second connection part(24c) in order to connect the plane display apparatus and the body so as to be assembled. The second connection part is coupled into the hinge connection part(22), and is connected to the first connection. The display apparatus case(30) has a third connection part(30a) which is connected to the first connection part and/or the second connection part so as to be contacted with the back plane of the plane display apparatus.
