PURPOSE: A device for switching into a same broadcasting channel of TV is provided, so that a viewer can easily find out an optimum channel among same broadcasting channels and can watch the channel, by switching into a same broadcasting channel having a high input gain when a present channel has lower input gain, by deciding whether the present channel has lower input channel than the same broadcasting channel which is set up through a same broadcasting channel table, when conversion of the same broadcasting channel is set up by the viewer. CONSTITUTION: A device for switching into a same broadcasting channel of TV, which an intermediate frequency signal tuned by a tuner(2) is processed in an image processor(10) and is displayed on a CRT(Cathode Ray Tube)(12), comprises an input gain sensor(18), a conversion key(19) of a same broadcasting channel, a memory(20), and a controller(15). The input gain sensor(18) senses an input gain of a tuned channel by the tuner(2). The switching key(19) switches into a same broadcasting channel having a high input gain by the input gain sensor(18). A table of the same broadcasting channel is stored in the memory(20) to set up the same broadcasting channel. The controller(15) displays the table on the CRT(12) when TV is on and a setup of the same broadcasting channel is on, senses an input gain of the same broadcasting channel and a present channel through the sensor(18) and the tuner(2) when the conversion key(19) is on, decides whether the present channel has lower input gain than the same broadcasting channel, and switches into a same broadcasting channel having a high input gain when the present channel has lower input gain than the same broadcasting channel.
