METHOD FOR ESTIMATING WELDING PROPERTY OF SPOT WELDING UNIT BY USING SUPERSONIC WAVES

PURPOSE: An estimation method is provided to easily weld a welding material, to improve productivity by estimating the welding property of a spot welding unit within a short time and to apply to the welded material having a complex shape. CONSTITUTION: An estimation method is to non-destructively estimate the welding property of a spot welding for connecting by the resistance irradiation of a contact part after a charged current is transmitted in a state of giving pressure after a thin metal plate is contacted with a supersonic wave. In addition, the welding property of the spot welding is estimated by using relative relation between a nugget diameter used as an estimation factor of the welding property of the spot welding and the echo transit time of the supersonic wave.
