PURPOSE: An apparatus for removing a particle is to remove untouchably glass particles generated when cutting a cell, thereby preventing inferiority during assembling the cell and a polarizer. CONSTITUTION: Four cylinders are provided in a vacuum clamp(4). The cylinders(5,6) are to fix a cell(3), and the cylinders(7,8) are to move a side surface of the cell. An ion fan is provided to the cell. The first suction tube and the second suction tube(11) are movably formed along an edge of the cell. The ion fan is to ionize glass particles which are disposed on a surface of the cell. By such ionization, the glass particles are easily separated from the surface of the cell. The separated glass particles are sucked in the first and the second suction tube. To remove the glass particles, a ring fan, a filter and the fifth and the sixth cylinders are provided. The ring fan provides a vacuum force. The fifth cylinder reciprocates the first suction tube, the sixth cylinder reciprocates the second suction tube.
