PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote supervisory and control system capable of using one master station device common for a leased line and a subscriber telephone line even in the case of a system for respectively separately using the leased line and subscriber telephone line while mixing both the purpose of supervisory/ control having real time property and the purpose of supervisory almost once a day. SOLUTION: A master station device 3 is provided with plural leased line interfaces 331-33n and plural subscriber telephone line interfaces 341-34n. The first type slave station device is provided with a leased line interface and periodically communicates with the master station device 3 at all the time while being connected with the master station device 3 through the leased line. The second type slave station device is provided with a subscriber telephone line interface and connected with the master station device 3 through the subscriber telephone line and only at the time of calling from the master station device, data time sequentially storing measured signals or state signals inputted to that slave station device are communicated.
