PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiprocessor computer architecture where the processors and other computer hardware resources are formed into groups in a section and each of these groups has an operating system instance. SOLUTION: This computer system includes plural system resources which can be designated and contain the processors, memories and I/O circuits, a mutual connection mechanism which secures the mutual electrical connection among the processors, memories and I/O circuits so as to make each processor access all memories and at least some of I/O circuits electrically, a software mechanism which designates the system resources that can be designated to plural sections including at least a processor, some memory or I/O circuit respectively and the operating instances which are executed in each section. In such a constitution, the flexibility, availability, resource shift capability and expandability are improve for the computer system.
