PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily reduce weight and make common and simplify a tray type plate forming die in a lamination type heat exchanger. SOLUTION: A lamination type heat exchanger comprises a plurality of passage forming tray type plates 3 having refrigerant flow ports formed in the ends of flat pipe forming recessed parts and cup attaching protruding edges which protrude outward on the peripheral edges of the refrigerant flow ports and a plurality of header part forming cups 22 and 23 fitted to the cup attaching protruding edges of the tray type plates 3 and having refrigerant passing holes 24 and 25 formed on bottom walls 22a and 23a. The tray type plates 3 are thinner than the header forming cups 22 and 23. The tray type plates 3 are superposed and connected together by alternately changing the directions of recessed parts. Thus, flat pipe parts are formed by opposed flat pipe forming recessed parts 21 and the header part forming cups 22 and 23 form header parts 6 and 7.
