PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical head capable of performing a tracking control easily without hindering to make recording density higher in a high-density optical memory in which proximity field light is used. SOLUTION: This head is an optical head in which plural proximity field light generating means (objective lenses 1 to 9 and fine openings 31 to 39) which are arranged side by side in one line and one propagation light converging means (objective lens 10) are mounted on a slider S1. The optical head performs recording, read-out and erasing by using proximity field light and performs tracking by using propagation light. |
