<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance durability by improving the structure of a screw setting part in a case body having thin walls and an open upper part. SOLUTION: In this ignition coil, a case body 13 having an open upper part and a screw setting part 36c extended outward is filled with insulating resin to be solidified later, with a bobbin 22 and cross core parts 30, 31 having a primary side coil part 15 and a secondary side coil part 16 arranged. The case body 13 consists of a resin case main body 35 formed with resin material, whose upper part is open, and a screw setting bracket body 35 made of metallic material. The screw setting bracket body 36 is provided with a side board part 36a, which is formed as an integrated body along the outer surface of a side wall part 35b of the resin case main body 36, and a screw setting part 36c, which is provided as an integrated body extended outward at the midst in the length direction of the side board part 36a.</p> |
