PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost lighting type switch with a simple structure capable of imparting an excellent click feeling in the on/off operation for a long period. SOLUTION: A transparent electrode film 1 comprises two layers, i.e., a transparent base film 1a and a transparent electrode layer 1b formed on a back surface of the transparent base film 1a. The transparent electrode film l is formed with a dome-shaped switch operation part 10 hemispherically swelled by embossing at the central part of the switch. A luminous layer 2, an insulating layer 3 and a back surface electrode layer 4 are sequentially laminated by printing on a back surface of the transparent electrode film 1 around the switch operation part 10 so that an EL luminous part 20 is formed. A circuit pattern for the switch and a pair of switch contacts 6a, 6b constituting the switch are formed on a front surface of a circuit board 5. The switch operation part 10 is disposed such that the operation part 10 covers the switch contacts 6a, 6b, and then, the EL luminous part 20 is connected to the circuit board 5.
