PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for supplying a powder adsorbent capable of supplying the powder adsorbent inexpensively with simplified construction. SOLUTION: In a powder adsorbent supply apparatus in which it includes a hopper 11 for accommodating a powder adsorbent, and a cutout/supply mechanism section 20 disposed below the hopper 11 for cutting out and supplying the powder adsorbent by a predetermined amount from the hopper 11, a leg 12 is provided on the hopper 11 to construct the apparatus into a cassette type whereby the apparatus is stably placed on a flat plane. There is further provided a hopper removal mechanism (flanges 19, 22, a flexible joint 2, and a coupling member 35) capable of mounting and demounting onto the cutout/supply mechanism 20 of the hopper 11. There is further provided an air filter 16 on the top of the hopper 11.
