PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording/preserving method of sound data for a portable telephone set which can easily generate, work and preserve sound data such as an incoming sound, a holding sound and OGM, which are stored in the portable telephone set as digital signals. SOLUTION: A portable telephone set 1 has the recording/reproducing function of a digital system. Sound data is stored in a memory. A personal computer 2 works sound data, preserves data and converts sound formats different in the portable telephone set 1 and the personal computer 2 and transfers data by an interface unit 3 which electrically connects the portable telephone set 1 to the personal computer 2.
