PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent toner in the last color with a low triboelectricity value from being scattered when a recording material is peeled and separated, in a color image forming device. SOLUTION: Toner images of N different colors formed on an image carrier 1 are successively transferred onto a recording material K carried by a recording-material carrying body 6 while held on it. In this case, if the electrification potential of the image carrier 1 on which the toner image in the last color is formed is VN and the electrification potential of the image carrier 1 on which the toner images in the colors other than the last one are formed is Vi(i: 1 to N-1), the relationship of |Vi|<|VN| is satisfied. |
