PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber coupler of optical communication system, an optical fiber coupling device, and an optical transceiver, reducing deterioration in optical intensity due to axial deviation between end surfaces and positional deviation in the axial direction of optical fibers to be coupled to each other. SOLUTION: The optical fiber coupler 13 is provided with plural insertion parts 13a and 13b into which plural optical fibers 11 and 12 of an optical communication system are inserted, and is constituted so that these plural insertion parts are held in the state that the end surfaces of these plural optical fibers are opposed to each other. In such a case, the optical fiber coupler is constituted so that the emission light distribution area of the end surface of one side optical fiber 11 becomes smaller than the light receiving area of the end surface of the other side optical fiber 12. |
