PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image editor where piled-up printed matters can easily be identified in the unit of orders without the need for a heavy load and the operator can easily confirm print contents corresponding to an order list. SOLUTION: Synthesis processing between a design template and an input image is conducted by using high resolution data (step 14), low resolution data for a display device are generated from the processing result and outputted as a file (step 15). Thumbnail image data for index print are generated based on the low resolution data and the data are synthesized into image slots for index template and the synthesized data are printed (step 18). Furthermore, the thumbnail data are used and displayed in lists according to a display in lists of each order or each customer.
