PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture at low cost a closed loop tubular body for a fixing device and a transferring device with high accuracy by forming at least one layer of a multi-layered tubular body with a metal layer, and preferably, forming a first layer and an outermost layer into a three-layer construction consisting of thermoplastic resin from the center of the tubular body. SOLUTION: A thermoplastic resin sheet film 4 is lapped over on the outer peripheral surface 1a of a cylindrical member 1 in a manner abutting with each other in its both ends. In addition, one sheet-like film 4 is lapped over the outside thereof so that both the ends are lapped over in its both ends. After a film and metal are set in each layer in this manner, a cylindrical member 1, a film 4, an aluminum foil 5, and a tubular mold member are inserted in a heating furnace to be heated. Thus, the overlapped parts at both the ends of the film are welded with the result that the film and aluminum are melted each other. |
