PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure trace ions in a liquid by dividing into positive ions, negative ions and a charge density in the liquid and to display the detected amount by processing an output signal proportional to an ion amount in the liquid from an ion detection part to detect the ion amount. SOLUTION: An upper part of a body 1 of a signal detection box A is provided with a sensor fixing box 2, while a sensor part 5 vertically suspending inside of the body 1 is provided to a lower face of the sensor fixing box 2. An elevating stand 6 is provided within the body 1 opposite to the sensor part 5. A vessel C poured with a measurement sample liquid is put on the elevating stand 6 with the elevating stand 6 lowered, and then, the elevating stand 6 is raised by turning a knob 6a so that an ion detection part of the sensor part 5 is immersed into the liquid in the vessel C. When the elevating stand 6 reaches to a prescribed position, the raising of the elevating stand 6 is stopped. Next, by turning on a power switch and a measurement starting switch of a measuring part main body, measurement is automatically started. The measurement is repeated in order of positive ions, a charge density in the liquid and negative ions. The measuring part main body processes an output signal from the ion detection part proportional to an ion amount in the liquid and displays the detected ion amount according to the ion amount. |
