PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shield connector using a less number of component parts, eliminating the necessity of a lance part, small-sizing the connector housing, facilitating mounting of a shield member on the connector housing, and enhancing the easiness in assembling works. SOLUTION: A plurality of contacts 9 are provided on the end face (6) of the mating connector fitting part (2) of a connector housing 1A so that a connector body 1 is formed, and a left split shield portion 19A is inserted to the left shield member inserting groove 12A provided in the connector housing 1A while the right split shield portion 19B is inserted to the right shield member inserting groove 12B, and a folding piece 20 is folded away and the two shield portions 19A and 19B are separated from each other, and a shield member 18 is mounted on the connector body 1 so that a plug connector is completed. |
