<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic charge image developing toner and electrostatic charge developer having excellent electrification stability and dielectric loss property, and to provide a method for producing the toner. SOLUTION: This electrostatic charge image developing toner consists of resin particles containing a coloring agent. The toner particles have <=0.5 wt.% water content, 100 to 137 shape factor SF, <=1.28 volume average grain size distribution GSDv, and <=50 dielectric loss. The toner is produced by the processes of mixing a dispersion liquid of resin fine particles and a coloring agent dispersion liquid, flocculating the resin fine particles and coloring agent particles to form a dispersion liquid of flocculated particles, and heating the dispersion liquid of flocculated particles to a temp. higher than the glass transition temp. of the resin fine particles so as to melt and integrate the flocculated particles.</p> |
