METHOD FOR DETERMINING OBJECT MOVEMENT DATA

A method for providing a precise determination of the velocity vector of a moving object has been accomplished. The method is based on using radar measurements of the angle to and the radial speed of a moving object and can be used in conjunction with a radar system comprising one or more units. Additionally, a method for precisely determining the range to a moving object from a single moving radar unit has been accomplished.
